Perks of Public Education: F = Friendships

In my previous blogs, I have been discussing reasons why I enjoy teaching in the public education system. Today brings my A to Z perks of public education to the letter F. F is for the friendships that I have made. Through teaching, I have gained many new friends. I have made friendships at the school where I teach and with teachers at other schools. Throughout the year, teachers from different schools in my district have opportunities to meet with one another and discuss what is happening at their school.
