Perks of Public Education: C = Creativity

This article will address another factor that I consider to be a perk of teaching public education. In today’s article, I will address C for creativity. Creativity is a major part of my life. I have also considered myself to be a creative person. I love writing, poetry, artwork, and crafts. Teaching, especially in kindergarten, allows me to use these skills. Diary of a Cat Care B&B: My Bulletin Board

I’ve picked up a new responsibility at the cats only boarding facility — I am now in charge of the monthly bulletin board. The job comes with a large (and I mean overflowing) box of assorted cat calendars, cat pictures from catalogues and magazines, a rainbow of colored paper, and more. Allowing Our Kids to Dream- Within Reason

I’m a firm believer that we should encourage our kids to dream-within reason that is. Tyler somehow got it into his head that he was going to open a restaurant when we return to New Orleans. He even created his own menu. I played along with him promising that I would help him out by being his assistant manager.
