America's Best High Schools: The Top 100 (Massachusetts to Washington)

Is your child slated to go to one of the top 100 high schools? Here is the second half of a list I've started in a previous blog. What makes them the best of the best is that they have the highest porportion of students taking either Advanced Placement exams or International Bacclaureate exams.

So there you have it, the last part of the top 100 high schools in America. It is interesting to note that while the editors who compiled this list feel that these high schools take seriously the challenge to prepare young students for college and beyond, there are a group of up and coming 'non-traditional' schools that are seeing results too. We'll take a look at some of these new alternatives to traditional high school and see how they're changing American education.
