Reluctant Readers … Boredom is Good

I have one son who is a really good reader, but doesn’t like to do it very much. The books he reads have to hit him just right at the exact moment he wants to read them, or he won’t do it. I’ve literally taken him to the library and told him we aren’t leaving until he finds a book he wants only to leave three hours later, empty-handed, and me about to pass out from low blood sugar. Dear Heather … Am I Overdoing It?

Dear Heather, Recently my Dh bought a gym membership, I love it so much! My mom, who is 80, went with me once and she loved it too. So much she joined so about 5 times a week, in the morning, I take her and I do a light work out also. Then at night after all the kids go to bed I go back and do my real workout. Barbara Fowles, a dear woman in our church, passed away recently, leaving all of us who knew her in saddened shock.
